This house is architecturally significant, contributing to the variety of styles generally built in this area during the 19th century. In 1898, the town water map calls this the "Gleason House". During the 20th century, a dentist had his office in his home here. The ell was made into a two-story apartment. The house was razed to create a back exit for the shopping center.
